Daniel de la Morena leads the International Finance Corporation (IFC) Global Knowledge and Learning O_ cer (GKLO), a position he has held since 2020. Earlier responsibilities included leading IFC’s Operational Content and Lessons Program, establishing IFC’s Asia Pacific knowledge management program—based in Vietnam—and designing and deploying IFC’s social collaboration program.
Daniel joined IFC in 2008 after working in knowledge management for the World Bank for five years. Daniel holds a master of science in foreign service degree from Georgetown University, Washington, DC, and a double-bachelor’s degree in business administration from Spain and Germany.
He has worked in the private and public sector and in countries including Vietnam, Spain, Germany, Morocco, and the United States.
