Shobha Kumar is a recognized international development and knowledge and learning practitioner with over 30 years of experience.

During her 25 year career at the World Bank, Shobha led the design and implementation of knowledge and learning initiatives that focused on enhancing the development impact of the World Bank Group’s capacity development and lending initiatives.

She also managed a large-scale mainstreaming initiative of results-focused knowledge exchange and was the primary author for the World Bank Group’s flagship knowledge and learning guidebook for development practitioners The Art of Knowledge Exchange, Shobha holds a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instructional Design from University of Southern California, Los Angeles.
