Daniel A. Levine is Senior Country Offcer in the World Bank Singapore Office. Dan is a key management team member responsible for the office’s core activities, events, and strategies and facilitates the link between knowledge development, communications, and operations. Dan first began working at the World Bank in the Office of the Comptroller in 2002.

He has since held a number of corporate assignments, most recently as Program Manager of the Tokyo Development Learning Center (TDLC) in Japan. In addition to program management, Dan has engaged in finance and private sector development,
knowledge and portfolio management, jobs and growth, infrastructure and urban development,
and, most recently, smart cities and digital development.

In the private sector, Dan has worked in government affairs, private equity, and management consulting. He
obtained a bachelor of science in political science from Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ, in 1998 and, as a Wolcott Fellow, obtained an MBA from George Washington University, Washington, DC, in 2002.
